It was the new Ark Hotel, built in the province of Hunan, China which only took its developer to build it for not more than - 15 days. It might have been a real surprise and shock for some of how would be the quality of this new hotel. But as the developed boasted it, the Ark Hotel has been a nine times earth quake resistant than those building that has been built in the conventional way. And that it can actually with-stand not just an ordinary quake, but a 9 magnitude earth quake.
It might really be an unbelievable story, but it was a real 30-story hotel suites that the developer has constructed. The Ark hotel has been constructed just a weeks before 2012 came, taking only two weeks, or u may tell it as 15 days or so u can say just in the span of 360 hours. And thinking about how safe to stay in this hotel? Well the developers guaranteed that because of it’s materials that they have used, it will be as strong and even has more energy conservation than that of the usual hotel. A teenage guy who have suffered heart illness of Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) have made a video about how his life been. His name is Ben Breedlove, 18 yrs. old from Austin, and he made a video about how difficult his life was. And how much his HCM sickness can be very dangerous. In his video where he used flashcards telling about how he spent 18 years of living. A very touching video of a teenager who would only wanted to have lived a life of a normal teenager.
In a video where he have inspired a lot of people. It’s just too bad that after one week of doing the video, he have succumbed to his heart illness. An illness he has since he was born and has been with him for 18 years. He told in his video how he have suffered near-death experiences and how he was able to cheat death for three times. But on the night of Christmas, he had his fourth and has been his final attack. When he wasn’t able to run from the angel of death. He died and have left his family broken hearted.
But as he died, he might have physically left. But through how his video become as viral as it is, he only needed that last video to give his message to the whole world. And it might not just telling the whole world about how he have suffered HCM, but it was the inspiration he give to all the people who have seen his video. COLOMBIA: GIANT ESCALATOR UNVEILED
The giant escalator being used by the neighborhood in Medellin, Colombia
In the second largest city in Colombia, they have unveiled their giant escalator. The giant escalator has been built for one of the poorest neighborhood in the city. Where it was built in the hillside of the neighborhood, where in people used to climb up and walk on the hill side for far about according to the authorities measures up to 28 story building. It would even take 35 minutes for the people to climb up.
According to Mayor Alonso Salazar, the mayor of Medellin city, it was the first outdoor and biggest escalator to be open to this kind of neighborhood. He added: “It turned out very well”. As Salazar has described the area, he said it has “suffered the greatest urban violence… but lately this has been receding and we hope this social package will help it move forward.”
If for the city governance, the building of the escalator was a successful project. For the neighborhood who have lived there all their life, it’s so much more than a city project.
