One of the most popular queen in the royal families existing today, Queen Elizabeth II have celebrated her 60th anniversary of reign in Great Britain. This Monday, the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II has been marked, and to her surprise as she has been commemorated and have received a lot of greetings.

Queen Elizabeth II has took over the reign from the death of her father George VI in Feb. 6, 1952. Her reign has been one of the longest reigns since Queen Victoria’s monarchy of more than 63 years. The 85-year-old queen has been very much dedicated in serving the British people and it’s what British’s Prime Minister David Cameron has been praising her as well as being thankful. In which, she was described by Prime Minister Cameron as “magnificent service” which has been a good role model for British people as she has served her nation with “dignity and quiet authority”.

And as always a dedicated queen, Queen Elizabeth II has released her thank you message to the people who have greeted and have been very much supportive of her reign. On her message, she states: “I am writing to thank you for the wonderful support and encouragement that you have given to me and Prince Philip over these years”..”In this special year, as I dedicate myself anew to your service, I hope that we will all be reminded of the power of togetherness and the convening strength of family, friendship and goof neighborliness, examples of which I have been fortunate to see throughout my reign.” (Reuters)
