AMAR’E STOUDMIRE LEAVE ON N.Y. KNICKS AFTER BROTHER’S DEATH
On Monday early morning N.Y. Knicks‘ star forward, Amar’e Stoudmire‘s brother has died in a car accident. And as the news came to Amar’e, he immediately have filed a leave from playing for his NBA team, N.Y. Knicks. A team spokesperson has confirmed ESPNNewYork.com about Amar’e brother‘s death and that the N.Y. Knicks‘ star is taking leave.
Reports about the death of Hazell Stoudmire, Amar’e brother, has been done by the Florida Highway Patrol states that Hazell was driving his 2007 Cadillac Escalade at a high speed and that resulted to his collision with a tractor trailer. The accident occur at 1:42 am, E.T. and Hazell has been pronounced dead on the scene.
N.Y. Knicks‘ coach Mike D’Antoni has already gave his sympathy to Amar’e as he went through this hard phase of his life. D’Antoni even is very much concerned of Amar’e grief and says Amar’e can take “whatever time he needs to take” before he can come back and play again. Since he knows how much Amar’e is very close to his brother, Hazell.
After N.Y. Knicks‘ victory of 99-88 against Utah last Monday, Amar’e even tweeted: “Even though I’m going through hard times right now. #SadDay Great job tonight team (Knicks). Jermeny Lin that’s how we play. Ya boy SynTzu.”
